2018 Ford Everest: Styling
Ford claims that the Everest is one of its most capable SUVs ever and its real capability can also be recognized from its tough exterior look. This high-riding machine has the robust front end and sculpted profile which hide Ford Ranger’s rugged chassis beneath. The inverted trapezoidal grille situated between modern headlights adds to its strong presence together with the massive front bumper. The model also has skid plate that protrudes up front and matched with 225 mm of ground clearance it guarantees safer off-roading.
The model also has nicely sculpted fenders and rear bumper also fitted with the skid plate. The upright tailgate comes adorned with the horizontal strip which connects taillights and has stamped model’s name.

2018 Ford Everest: Powertrain
Powering the 2018 Ford Everest will be a 3.2-liter TDCi Duratorq Diesel engine. This five-cylinder engine can deliver 143 kW of raw power at 3, 000 rpm and torque of 470 Nm between 1750-2500 rpm. Ford will likely match this engine with the six-speed auto transmission but transmission with more gears is also possible.
The engine will deliver great performance and fuel efficiency either with the rear- or all-wheel drive. The fuel economy on the combined cycle will be around 8.5 liters/100 km while model will allow up to 3000 kg of towing capacity. For the unlimited off-raoding the system can split torque between front and rear wheels depending on the traction and even all power can be sent to a single wheel if it only has traction.
