The Infiniti QX30 gets an attention with its dramatic coupe-like styling but is also fun to drive because of peppy acceleration and sharp handling. A high-quality interior and features galore also improve its ratings but the price as well. The model shares the platform with the Mercedes CLA and GLA crossover but Infiniti signs design, exterior styling and interior. The model debuted for the 2017 model year and recently redesigned Infinitis follow the same design language.
The upcoming version, the 2019 Infiniti QX30 won’t change the way it looks and rides but Infiniti will make some revisions to the equipment offer.
2019 Infiniti QX30: Design
The 2019 Infiniti QX30 won’t bring any notable change on its look. The model has a curvaceous almost dramatic exterior which can’t pass unnoticed. The grille is familiar Infiniti’s design and nice accents improve the look of the headlights.
The QX30 also has dynamic lines on the profile and combined with the swoopy roofline the model look attractive from the side point of view. The rear is also interesting and richly shaped almost too much. The taillights have a similar graphic pattern as the headlights and Infiniti also add contrasting trim to improve the impression.
Inside the cabin, the QX30 is cozy and attractive. The asymmetrical dash houses well-arranged controls and high-mounted touchscreen. The upper versions improve with stitched high-quality upholstery and more, desirable equipment.
The model will come with the latest infotainment system and will offer the safety package in lower trims. Assisting the driver will be adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, surround view cameras, park assist, etc.
The base model will include keyless entry and ignition, leather steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, etc. Starting from the next trim the leather upholstery, power and heated front seats, driver memory setting will be available. Upper grades will bring more premium features but the price will also go high.
2019 Infiniti QX30: Performance
The first impression is important but the QX50 won’t also disappoint while driving it. The model will deliver precise handling and the Mercedes-sourced engine will also provide strong acceleration.
The 2019 Infiniti QX30 will return with the 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine and no signs that brand will offer the new option. This engine develops 208 hp and torque 258 lb-ft. The transmission system will be a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. Buyers will choose between front- and all-wheel drive.
The QX30 will also be reasonably efficient and fuel economy should stay at current numbers. The front-wheel-drive model will return around 27 mpg combined. The power on all four wheels will reduce fuel efficiency to around 25 mpg combined.
2019 Infiniti QX30: Arrival, Price
A late-spring is the period when we should expect the 2019 Infiniti QX30. With no significant upgrades, the price range should also stay close to the current.
